The Nijhuis MediOxi is a cost-effective decentralized pre-treatment solution removing 80-99% of medicines, radiocontrast agents and resistant bacteria from healthcare wastewater. It is a compact and flexible ‘treatment at the source’ solution which consists of a smart combination of oxidation technologies to improve the water quality and reduce the impact of micropollutants on the environment.

Nijhuis Industries
Nijhuis Electro Osmosis (NEO) saves sludge management costs by reducing the volume of dewatered sludge with 40-50% by using an electrical field. NEO can be used after (existing) centrifuges or screw presses to increase dry solids content of sludge from 15-25% to 40-50% and therefore saves on transport and disposal costs. Compared to thermal dryers, NEO’s energy consumption is 40% less.
